2016 / 2017 Season

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our 2016 / 2017 concert season , the orchestra's 44th. Each programme this year features a major symphonic work by some of the greatest exponents of the genre: Mahler's 6th Symphony, Beethoven 6th, Brahms 1st and Dvořák's 8th Symphony. In addition we are delighted to welcome Music Director David Greed's two violinist sons, Tom and Jack, as soloists in the Bach Double Violin Concerto and, later on in the season, Yorkshire-born tenor Nicholas Watts and Andrew Littlemore (French horn) to perform the wonderfully evocative song-cycle by Benjamin Britten, the Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings. We look forward to seeing you at our concerts.

The brochure for the year can be downloaded from here..

Our next concert is on Saturday 1st July 2017 at St Edmund's Church, Roundhay.
